The internet entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel, who is well-known in America, is expanding its investment activities in Europe. He landed in England to continue to Germany.
Last year in June, Thiel took an interest in Transferwise payment service with his Valar (portfolio). That was the first European investment for the born German who got acquaintance with the company PayPal, which he founded with Elon Musk and Max Levchin.
In the past few months, the investor has made three investments in European startups. Thiel appears to be the first large private investor from America to cross the Atlantic to spend growth in Europe.
Recently his Valas invested in fintech startup Kreditech, before that he invested money in banker app Number26 and photo app Eyeem.
